I got my real estate license in August and have been working for months to get a (working) website to advertise my business. My first attempt was using Mac's built in program iWeb to easily create a great looking website. The look was pretty good, but the problem was that iWeb is structured to be a simple tool, but sacrifices searchability (search engines like Google look for certain aspects of a website for it to be one of the top searches. Mine didn't have those aspects). So, starting from scratch and also studying up on SEO (Search Engine Optimization), I've come up with a completely new design and also, hopefully, a website that will compete with the other top websites here in the Conroe area (primarily lakeconroerealty.com and franketeam.com - a site which my best friend, Jacob, has designed and has been able to make the top search result for "Conroe Real Estate"). Feel free to visit my website and leave your honest critiques. I want the website to be easy to use, appealing to the eye, and full of useful content. I've tried to accent the major criteria that consumers look for in a website which are Property Search, Property Value, and Area Information. It's not currently complete, so many of the links do not work just yet.

Eric your site is really really nice! I am not just saying that, I am so particular abut websites I study graphic arts and all that and I normally really hard to please (i cant help it i swear). The site is easy to get around and the design is very clean. SEO is not an easy thing either, it is a lot to learn and manage... I actually hired a company to do it for me at my job b/c it is such extensive work. I guess we could talk about all that dorky stuff sometime haha. I have ideas on how to help on SEO but you probably already know everything I do too. I think blogging, social networking and message boards are important as the current trend as well as LOTS of content and lots of fresh content on multiple pages google likes to see that. Ok sorry.... I get carried away.
By the way I can't wait to meet Sadie! AND I cant believe we live within shouting distance of each other and I never see you 2. We should change that.
Tell Jen hello for me :)
I wouldn't be too concerned about telling him things that he already knows... :P
